Meet Dash Robot – Why I love it!

The Wonder Workshop Dash robot is one of my favorite STEM toys in the Innovation Lab and is part of the elementary coding curriculum. The drag-and-drop app is similar to Scratch and Dash takes programming from 2-dimensional to 3-dimensional, which allows children to have more play while learning.

Dash Robot review of this must get STEM toy. Learn Blockly, a drag and drop program for reader-level kids, and Path starts to help pre-reader kids learn sequencing and problem solving, key aspects of programming.

Students as young as 6 years old can learn to code using simple commands on the iPad app.

Highlights include:

  • Coding Robot for Kids 6+
  • Voice Activated
  • Navigates Objects
  • 5 Free Programming STEM Apps

The Dash robot has an easy to use programming interface. This toy, although easy to use is not basic at all. There are complex logic and programmable sequences to work though and you can create challenges and games for your wee ones, or heck, they can create their own for that matter.

Explore computer programming while playing.

Dash sis an engaging STEM toy on it’s own, which is great for reluctant coders.
